Riding down hills on a bicycle is super easy — you barely have to do anything at all. On the other hand, riding up hills requires quite a bit of effort. What if you could store the energy created when you’re blazing down hills or braking and use it later when you’re schlepping up a hill? That seems like a sensible thing to do and is exactly the premise behind the “Copenhagen Wheel.”
